The European market is set to witness the debut of the 2024 Hyundai Tucson facelift, showcasing notable updates both externally and internally. The SUV, slated for an early 2024 launch in Europe, exhibits refreshed exterior styling adhering to the “Parametric Dynamics” design language. Key exterior alterations include a revamped grille with sharper details and concealed parametric jewel Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) in the front, along with a redesigned bumper featuring a faux skid plate.
While the side profile remains unchanged, enhanced diamond-cut alloy wheels contribute a more sophisticated appearance. Although details about the rear profile are yet to be unveiled, Hyundai mentions a broader integrated skid plate in the bumper. The standout changes are found in the interior, featuring a revamped dashboard with horizontal lines and a panoramic curved display that houses a 12.3-inch digital cluster and infotainment system.
The steering wheel has a new 3-spoke design with a round horn pad, offering a sporty and retro aesthetic. Hyundai has relocated the gear select lever to the steering wheel column, akin to the Ioniq 5, creating space in the center for a wireless smartphone charger and two cup holders. The updated dashboard also sees repositioned AC vents seamlessly integrated into the new design, complemented by sleek and modern touch-sensitive buttons for the HVAC controls.
Although engine specifications and the official feature list are yet to be disclosed, expectations lean towards an expanded feature set while retaining the existing engine options.
