The XUV400 has been refreshed with a redesigned dashboard, dual 10.25-inch screens, and additional features, while its mechanical aspects remain unchanged.

Mahindra has recently introduced the XUV400 Pro range, with prices starting at Rs 15.49 lakh and going up to Rs 17.49 lakh for the EL Pro variant. These prices are valid for deliveries until May 31, 2024, and the booking process for the new range will commence tomorrow at 2 pm, requiring an initial payment of Rs 21,000. Deliveries are scheduled to start from February 1.

While the XUV400 Pro range retains its mechanical specifications and overall styling, significant updates have been made to the dashboard and the addition of new features. The introductory prices will be applicable until the specified date, and the new range will be available alongside the existing trims until stocks last. Mahindra has also introduced a new Nebula Blue color option for the XUV400.

The XUV400 has been upgraded with a new 10.25-inch floating infotainment screen, along with the addition of wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additionally, two new trims, namely EC Pro and EL Pro, are now part of the available options.

The previous all-black interior in the XUV400 has been replaced with a new dual-tone black-and-beige theme. The passenger side of the dashboard now features a gloss black garnish, while the subtle copper accents remain unchanged. The steering wheel is now a flat-bottom unit, and the instrument binnacle remains the same, but the analogue dials have been replaced by a new 10.25-inch digital screen.

Both screens now run the Adrenox software seen in the XUV700, providing a significant upgrade in overall functionality from the outdated 7.0-inch infotainment interface. Additional features include dual-zone climate control with a memory function, a wireless phone charger, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Alexa connectivity, rear USB ports, and rear AC vents—addressing a previous omission in the XUV400’s equipment list.

While these updates bring the XUV400 Pro closer to the new Nexon EV, the Tata model still outshines it in terms of features. The Nexon EV boasts ventilated front seats, a powered tailgate, 360-degree cameras, full-width LED light bands, and an even larger infotainment screen on the top-spec variant.
